The opening film of the 28th Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival is a timely documentary on the great value of the struggle for justice. Ask E. Jean, which will celebrate its international premiere in Thessaloniki, revolves around Elizabeth Jean Carroll, who sued Doland Trump for sexual assault and defamation, being the only woman to ever beat him, and twice as a matter of fact, in a courtroom. The film’s director Ivy Meeropol will honor the screening and the opening of the Festival with her presence.

Το 28ο Φεστιβάλ Ντοκιμαντέρ Θεσσαλονίκης θα πραγματοποιηθεί από την Πέμπτη 5 έως και την Κυριακή 15 Μαρτίου. Στο πρόγραμμά του ξεχωρίζουν πέντε συναρπαστικές ταινίες τεκμηρίωσης για σημαντικές προσωπικότητες, όπως η Κιμ Νόβακ και η Μαριάν Φέιθφουλ, ενώ την αφίσα της φετινής διοργάνωσης υπογράφει ο γνωστός εικαστικός Αλέξανδρος Ψυχούλης.
